This year’s Ironstone Concours
d’ Elegance will host two coordinated “Drivers Drives” from the Bay Area. Both
will take place on the day of the Concours, Saturday, September 26, 2009. 
One Drive will leave from San Rafael, the other from
Pleasanton. Both Drives will take scenic routes and will end up at the
Ironstone Concours d’ Elegance, held at the Ironstone Winery near the gold-rush
town of Murphys.
The idea is to enjoy driving up on the morning of the
Concours. There is no charge, and coffee and donuts will be served at both
gathering points. Here are details:
 
From the San Rafael starting point: Meet at Jack L. Hunt Automotive, 
1714 Fourth St., San Rafael CA 94901. Phone (415) 453-1611.

Park at or near Jack’s at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September
26. The Driver’s Drive from San Rafael begins at 8:30 a.m. Drivers will be
given a route map, and all participants will be asked to sign a liability
release form. 
 
From the Pleasanton starting point: Meet at Specialty Sales, 4321 First St., Pleasanton CA
94566. Phone (925) 484-2262.

Park at or near the Specialty Sales showroom at 8:00 a.m.
on Saturday, 
September 26. The Driver’s Drive from Pleasanton begins at
8:30 a.m.
Participants will be given a route map, and all will be
asked to sign a liability release form..  
 
Estimated arrival time at the Ironstone Concours d’
Elegance is 11:30 a.m. for both Drives. Parking at the Concours is free.
Special parking areas will be available for clubs.
Admission to the Concours is $20 per person (children under
14 get in free).

Lunch and beverages will be available at the Concours. Show hours are 10:00
a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
