[DeTomaso] 2nd gear downshift grind

 Do you know how to double clutch?
If the box only crunches until it is warmed up, just double clutch on downshifting until it is warm

It's sounding like The Beast needs 2nd gear synchros as it's grinding allot on 
downshifts into 2nd (at least until it's pretty warmed up);
If I have to pull the ZF already I might as well look into a taller 5th gear.
Anybody know what a ZF overhaul is going for these days, and the options 
(vendors) for a taller 5th gear?)
