I think that was Jim Bell, an old-time Pantera guy in the East Bay area.
Jim had his own ideas about what was 'correct' but a lot of what he did in the
early '70s is still being copied today. I think Mr Bell passed away some
years ago. In ancient PI magazines, one occasionally reads about Jim Bell. He
originally worked on the blue Pantera that Judy & I raced in the early '80s.
FAR Performance in Mountain View CA was a race car shop. In the '80s, that
used to be one of the few places in the Bay Area one could get speed parts
for foreign cars. I'm surprised if they had anything to do with Panteras. All
