As I pointed out earlier in this tread, different pressure plates
have different finger lever ratio. For example, my pressure plate
takes 1 1/2" of slave throw for a good release. This is a good
thing for a heavy clamping force pressure plate since it lessen
the pushing force on the crankchaft AND the all bearingngs.

Can someone explain why the new clutch would require more arm motion /
displacement from the rest position than the old one?
I can see how disc thickness, flywheel thickness, etc would change the
"rest" position of the clutch arm, but why would we suddenly need more
MOVEMENT of the arm / rotation of the ZF shaft?
