BTW If you do opt for new lenses search around as they are an Alfa 2000 part. Mr Fiat was selling them for $80 ea. a while back, I see they are currently $113 ea.

FWIW Mr. Fiat also sells the reproduction GP4 lenses for a bargain price of $128 a pair if originality is not important and you have the GP4 tailight buckets. Larry Finch can supply high quality complete GP4 units too.

You have to search but you can find it here in the US (my can label is all Japanese). I found it works pretty well, you just have to do multiple very lights coats so that you don't get too much spray flowing into the valleys of the ribbed lens reflector which then shows up as dark lines from the exterior.

I run Lexan front quarter windows, and a shallow pan of 'RIT'-brand dye dissolved in warm water permanently dyes the clear plastic to match the shading on windshields & side windows. So I'll bet the right color of RIT dye in warm water will also work on your lenses. The color-impregnation happens quite fast so you can just hold the lens at the right depth for a minute, rinse and repeat as necessary. Good luck- J Deryke
