[DeTomaso] head drilling for air release

I'd agree on that one. I put a cover plate on the front of my engine,
mounted a remote Meziere pump up front and haven't looked back. Again,
a strong suggestion from Mike Trusty and I am happy with it. When
filling with coolant, turn on the key and circulate the air out to
your heart's content! THEN start the engine.
