The long-throw slaves were pioneered by Pantera East, although most (all?) 
the vendors now carry them.

I have had outstanding luck with factory original masters; others haven't 
been so fortunate.   Trevor Fougere has managed to break five (!) of them in 
a year and a half.   But I can't think of anybody else who's had a problem 
with a stock master cylinder, other than the fact that the originals are 35+ 
years old and thus due to fail.

Changing your clutch fluid every couple of years will go a LONG way towards 
prolonging the life of these components.
