[DeTomaso] head drilling for air release

I made this remark several months ago: At our amusement park/ranch, we had a C.P.Huntington RR train, and it had a 4 cylinder Ford engine in it. We overhauled it, but afterwards it kept running hot. After checking everything several times over a several day period, we poked a water hose into the radiator, started the engine and let it idle for a long time, maybe 30-45 minutes.
Apparently, this let the "air bubbles" work their way out - it never caused a problem again.
