[DeTomaso] head drilling for air release

I think the purpose is to remove air from radiator and lines - hoses. The engine itself isn't known for air pockets so you put all of the problem area downhill so air will rise up as you force water in and down to displace it. Michael shortt

Mustang:
- Radiator ahead of engine, true
- Radiator Cap higher than engine, true

Pantera
- Radiator ahead of engine, true
- Radiator Cap higher than engine, true

What does front or back have to do with it? Why not jack the -front- up
and bleed air from the tubes and radiator out a radiator bleed, and in
the process raise the front of the engine slightly to get air bubbles in
the back of the heads to move forward and hopefully out the thermostat?
Sounds like a better solution to me.

Sorry, don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but I swear I saw it
breathing. :)
