I think open is open and flow is a constant unless you reduce flow by using mr gasket reducing inserts in the gooseneck to slow-retrict the water.    Michael shortt

I've always thought flow was a constant through a thermostat,  
regardless of the designed opening temp.  Once open, it is open.  160,  
180, 195 would give the same flow.

There are of course high-flow design thermostats.

Can you expound on these 'pros'?  ;-)
