[DeTomaso] I blew up my car

My experience with hydronic heating systems is that it takes only a small
amount of air to air lock the system, and impede circulation. In many of
those systems, the pump will not push the air bubble through the system, no
circulation, no heat. It has to work in a similar fashion in a cars
cooling system, the heat is just moving in the other direction. Rule out the
simple solutions first, my money is on an air bubble or thermostat. Ron

In this case, the rear of the car -was- jacked up. If anything, I think
the thermostat simply never opened. In order not to circulate any
coolant through the radiator, there had to be blockage and it had to be
more than just air, unless the pump wasn't turning or the pump was full
of air.
