[DeTomaso] replacement door latch spring?

Last time I spoke with Steve, he did not have an exact replacement for  
the single, stock spring but said he supplied two close-match springs  
that did the job.

I checked the box-store hardware outlets and my two local old-time  
hardware stores and came up empty.  A web search might turn up  
something.  Or send off one stocker to a spring supplier and see what  
they can match.

But, I imagine Steve has already tried that approach?
