[DeTomaso] Front Brake Ducting

Julian,

Some guys at the track this weekend said they just direct it towards the caliber, and stop the ducting a couple of inches away. They said they tried first aiming the air at the rotor but it cooled too much and the pads didn't stick well.

  Dan,,

I'm not sure what Steve did there, I know he left for Asia again yesterday, so not sure if he is picking up e-mail, but I copied him and if he is online I'm sure he'll tell you more detail about the install.

My later GT5 actually has some stubs on the front a-arms to tie ducting to.

  Cheers,
  Julian

  Thanks Julian,
I hadn't thought about ducting through the wheelwell, but I am now.
The only thing I can't see is how the ducts attach to the caliper, do you know?

    Dan,

Sending some photo's of Steve Rovarino's solution for front brake ducting (which the list will strip to others).

The NACA ducts were from Pegasus Racing if I recall.
