I know this car very, very well. I have known the former owner (Joe
Lobue) for about 17 years, and I have even worked on this car before.

It was featured in the POCA magazine, of the first issues that I created,
in Fall of 1995.

This is one of the most beautiful Panteras I've ever seen, with outstanding
metalwork (steel Gr4 flares) and fantastic Porsche Guards Red paint. It
also has some of the best Gr4 17-inch wheels (by Panteras by Wilkinson).

Joe polished the transaxle without removing it from the car! He just sat
inside the engine bay and spent many, many, many hours polishing it by hand!

Unfortunately, the only thing he cared about was car shows, and so this
Pantera was VERY slow, and ran very badly, for many years. Finally, some of
the members of his local Pantera club (Capitol Panteras, in Sacramento,
California) got together and helped him out. They changed the (worn-out)
camshaft, rebuilt the carburetor, and it ran much better after that--although it
still wasn't very fast by Pantera standards.

But speed is much easier to achieve than beauty!

I have one leftover copy of that 1995 magazine left; e-mail me privately
and send me your mailing address, and your mobile phone number, and I will
send it to you. I will also send you one of the most stunning Pantera
photographs I have ever seen, taken by a professional photographer of this car,
back in 1995.

You have a VERY GOOD car in your hands! :>)

Mike
