[DeTomaso] Fw: Ebay Pantera: Is this legit?

If the guy is legit he should also have no problem providing a copy of some
proof of ownership document.
  I title  ( with part of the vin # blocked out ) would not cause him any
risk . Even if the title has not been transferred to his "deceased sons"
name There should be some form of official document that will show vin # and
name of previous owner. He can make a photo copy and black out the sensitive
numbers and include something in the picture to provide proof of date. (
like a picture of the title and a current newspaper in the same frame.. It
is a simple process  even a photo of the seller holding a current newspaper
standing next to the car. Anything that shows the current lister has the car
in his possession. This would at least establish that the pictures were not
hijacked from another  ad. unwillingness of the seller to provide this type
of evidence of his possession of the car  is  a big Red Flag. A seller that
is legit has noting to lose by providing proof of ownership. The risk is all
on the part of the buyer
