[DeTomaso] Some really ugly photos

For what it's worth, the car I just bought has about 2 inch wide metal strips welded along both outside edges of the floor, basically where your car needs them.  I've told that is a common rust area because moisture is trapped there.

I brought the car for some light bodywork and a respray. 



Thump, thump, thump, thump.  that was the sound of my falling down that oh
so slippery slope..to an all-out restoration. 



The motor is now out, the suspension is off, the majority of the interior is
out. 



Sigh.
