The Bill Stroppe (and Holman and Moody) retrofits were only done to the earliest cars.

Also, if you look closely, the dash was made for this knob.  Look at the surround.

That looks like the Bill Stroppe fresh air vent knob, although usually I've seen it
installed beneath the heater controls to the right of the radio.
