I know you all know this but let me share it anyway......its allot cheaper to replace a soft bronze gear then it is a hard dollar cam.

Ford part number for 351C/351M/400/429/460 engines this is a steel gear from Ford M-12390-J

Bob,
The steel distributor gear from Ford is no longer available.  I've tried 4 online vendors and had a good friend who's a parts manager at a local Ford dealer search internally for me with no luck.
