[DeTomaso] Pantera A/C compressor bracket

I grabbed some flow rate data off the Stewart Components web page several
years ago (it has since disappeared) and summarized it in a couple of excel
graphs. Apparently Stewart ran some flow rate tests using a couple of
different engines (Ford SVO and Chevy Small Block) with several different
water pumps - Stewart Stage 1, Stewart Stage 4, Edlebrock, Flow Cooler. The
tests indicate flow rates of some pumps approach 130 gph at 7000 rpm (I
don't know whether that's engine rpm or pump rpm). FWIW - according to the
Stewart tests, the two Stewart pumps flowed significantly more than the
competitors pumps at the same rpm in the same engine.

Also obvious is how much lower the flow rates are at engine idle rpm -
around 10 gpm. This is where an electric pump should have an advantage over
a mechanical pump, assuming your alternator can provide enough juice at idle
to spin the water pump at the required rpm and load.

The list will strip the water pump flow charts, however, I can forward them
to those who might be interested.

I tried to find info on mechanical pump flowrates... Nobody seems to publish
it. Or, at least, that I could find.

Besides, the mechanical pump is pumping the least at low rpm. My car didn't
get hot at speed.
Just soaking in the traffic in Texas 100degF heat. It doesn't do that any
more.
