[DeTomaso] Trivia on Side Marker lights

Did you know that...

The side marker lights have about an 8-10 degree slant to offset the body
curvature.
Each corner has a unique part number, and marking on the back in abbreviated
Italian. i.e.:

Front = Anteriore
Rear = Posteriore
Right = Destro
Left = Sinstra

For example a marking with ANT-D would be the Front Right Marker Light.

There is a substitution mentioned in the Orange Ford parts manual, that you
can substitute
the Front Left for the Right Rear and vice versa... but the Left Rear and
the Right Rear
can not be swapped... due to the incident angle of the body and this the
angle of the reflector...
mounting the maker on the wrong side will cause the reflector to point up at
about a 20 degree angle.
