Once again, thank you all for your help. I am very thankful to each of you for taking the time to respond.
You guys are very good at helping people spend money wisely and smartly and that is priceless.
Especially Chris Difani for emphasizing the extra cost of shipping. Thanks Chris!
I took your advice and decided on the HarborFreight model mentioned by Boyd.
Sorry Mike but my first project is suspension so a type of lift you have would be great for most other stuff but not mine. And they ARE more expensive.
I decided due to my garage height restrictions ,budget and specific needs it wasn't necessary to spend an extra $450+ and might just get some riser pads if it's not high enough for me.

It was $949 on the website.
I bought a copy of "Bassin" magazine for $3.50 with the 20% off coupon inside. Heck I don't even fish.
That brings the price down to $759.
I have a HP 2 miles from me and they'll load it in my truck when it arrives in about a week.
Saved about $300 shipping cost there.
My neighbor has a variety of construction machinery which will handle the unload and placement easily into my garage.
A half rack of ESB ought to do it.

Total cost with WA. state sales tax-$829.05 + beer and magazine.
Done!

So once I get it and start tearing into the car, then I can spend some real money! Maybe this wasn't such a good idea....
Too late now! I'm psyched....
