[DeTomaso] Ghia to be featured at Pebble Beach

OK, here's the real story on the Pantera's appearance at Pebble  Beach:
I went out in the garage & dug up the old P.I. Fall 1997 issue number  92.  
It has the article from that event.  The actual date was  8/17/97.  See 
page 28 if you have that old issue.  A 1964 Mercedes 230  custom body designed 
by Tom Tjaarda beat Dean's Pantera by two votes. 
I also wrote an article on Ford's "New Edge" design which was just coming  
out at the time.  They had a Mercury MC4 with gull wing rear hatch (similar  
to the original Mangusta).  Fun reading!
