When I was looking for 15" tires last year (2008), I also glanced at the 
availability of 16".  I was disappointed.  It would appear from the 
looking around that I did, good high-speed rubber in 16" is beginning to 
get scarce too.  If I had the money, I'd most likely go for 17" all the 
way around, or 17"F and 18"R.
