Hi Robert,

Adding to Jacks very good coments.

You will need a torque wrench, clutch alingment tool, some long bolts to fit
into the block (cut the heads off) to use as alingment pins when installing
the ZF.

It is not a very hard job. Keep it clean in there. Make sure the disk is
alinged and the proper side is facing out.

This is a good read for a first timmer.

Subject: [DeTomaso] gumball detomaso pantera clutch

Dear Friends ,
The engine and ZF have been pulled from my car.I am planning this weekend
to separate the ZF from the engine . Now that the engine and ZF are out of
the car I think it would be a good time to replace the clutch, throwout
bearing now . I have never done this job before.Does this involve any
special
tools? Is this a simple job to replace the clutch and bearing or is this
very
involved.

Robert
