And as you likely found, those guys are are real b...   to dig out without 
damaging the cast iron upright bores. But helpfully, the vendor replacements 
I've seen are really simple to press back in, and fit without needing more 
'work'. Up-and-down motion and noise back there due to worn rear bushings 
allowing the lower a-arm end(s) to shift is sometimes misdiagnosed as worn 
wheel bearings, bad u-joints and other more serious maladies, but you gotta be
