No, but Dennis Quella once described his lower pillar reinforcements as 
shaped like 'chicken-feet' welded across the top of the sheet metal fender and 
up the pillars. I'm not aware of anyone systematically reinforcing the tops 
of the pillar -most choose to build a full roll cage. The Nov '09   POCA 
News lists the 4 critical areas for stress cracks and has a few photos on pg 23 
of patches installed, but the windshield pillars unfortunately show no
