That's funny about hitting the fuel pump switch, and that you didn't even know about it.  

A buddy of mine wired the dimmer switch in his 66 Chevelle to be the on/off for his electric fuel pump - sort of an added security measure. Unfortunately, the switch is covered by carpeted floor mats, and on a number of 
occasions he's been cruising down the road and accidentally turned off the fuel pump from his left foot resting on 
the floor mat.

Glad it was such a good day - avoided a parking ticket and only a minor delay to figure out your 'problem' was 
merely a matter if flicking a switch - everyday should be so good!
