I should say that 10 pound make a big difference if the situation is such
that it calls for it. If driving on good roads in normal traffic it dosent
matter, but if you speed some 100 mph in a larger curve where you feel the
side force comming in and you go over a 1" bump, the car will take a
little step sideways. Heavier wheels will need firmer high speed shock
setting which to control the larger unsprung weight which in turn goes
against what is needed to control the mentioned situation.

As we are talking sportscars here I personally like the car to handle this
type of situation even if I where not to go at 100 mph in such corner,
just for knowing that I am having a car that is up to it.
