[DeTomaso] need advice before I cry

Thanks for that great advice. I used to throw and break things when I got frustrated, but since I put my hand through a window one day, I have found it is less expensive not to do that. Since I never really expect the car to leave my garage ever again under its own power, it is less stressful.

Justin, repeat after me, "I will not throw tools. I will not throw tools in my garage. I will not throw tools at my car. I will not throw tools at my dog. I will try really hard (well sorta hard) not to hit the cat."

Now, that you feel better. Show this to your wife!!!

Dear wife, "I feel really bad. I need a hug. I need a really big hug." Your loving husband, Justie

And, Justin, now that foreplay is over, you may proceed to the next step.

With standard 180 thermostat Re wet with all fluids. Run it for 15 minutes. Jack it up in the rear. Open both tanks when you can add 50 50 mix until it overflows. Start it with caps off. Watch. Let it run 5 min. And lower it. Now cap it. Drive for 20 min. Bring it home. Let it cool. Open caps and check levels. Michael

I have a second temp sensor hooked up to EFI system in thermostat upper pipe, and that reads 160, so I figure must be air in block still and run it a little more. Dash gauge temp goes steadily up to 260 (end of reading), and temp sensor in upper pipe remains at 180. car runs fine, and I wonder if dash gauge is no good (but it worked fine on maiden run few weeks ago).
