Matt,
The stock seal usually has this large flat lip that extends around the
hole, usually you just pound a screwdriver behind there and pop out
the seal. This seal has been replaced before (methinks).
Yes, there is a tool you can get, but if you have a small prybar, or a
good screwdriver, you should be able to pry it out.
Try this. Using a good size flat screwdriver, insert it through the
hole and under the seal. Get a piece of wood or a hammer handle, and
use it as a fulcrum on the front cover. Pry away.
I know you'll get it. :)
