I have news for you, most of us did during the last hurricane.  You didn't
hear use whining for the government to come save us.  We put on our work
cloths and went out started cleaning up and helped each other out.

You wanna be fair?  Tell you what.  Next Hurricane that whacks Texas?  Fix
it out of your own pockets. Handle all your own relief.  

 

You'll have to anyway after the state secedes.
