[DeTomaso] How do you keep fuses clean?

In 2005 I was looking for them myself while on a business trip to the US. I found some in glass, others in ceramic/plastic, in similar packages. I also noted that the glass fuses had the same part number as "the others" which I take as a sign that the glass variety was being phased out.
