Hi Matt
I guess you need to change the seal between the timing cover and the crank.
You must remove the balancer for that. I'm not sure if you can remove the old seal without removing the timing cover (and waterpump).

Ämne: [DeTomaso] front seal oil leak help
I've had a little oil dripping on the garage floor and thought it was the remnants of a messy oil change job earlier. While getting ready for Reno and checking stuff out I found that the crank pulley had oil in it and something isn't doing it's job keeping the oil in,which is starting to make a bit of a mess on everything.
Can anyone explain what needs to be done to fix it before the drive down please?
