Asa Jay, you asre on a very slippery slope. Please read the most recent 
saga of my friend Steve Liebenow, the Goose-Meister. In late Jan, he started to 
swap engines in the Blue Goose, and already had a replacement motor built 
up. Suffice it to say that the car now has multiple new welds and doublers in 
the frame in many places- most of them completely unexpected, the engine is 
still not installed after 4 months, and work continues all over the back 
end..... and he had blissfully driven it to a party just before all this 
started.
No, it never really ends. You either run out of time, money or patience.
