I've been using Autolites. It ran great on those when I dyno'd the car last
year with a full MSD system (8350 R2R, 6AL, Blaster Coil, Tach Adapter and
capacitor.

I have a question. I have been following the posts about MSd ignition and
higher spark plug gaps(.45 - .50). i have a complete MSD ignition set up,
MSD6AL, Blaster coil, and an MSD (small cap) distributor. I went to my local
auto zone and said I wanted spark plugs (I quoted the intended application
as a 1971 Boss 351) I don't remember where I read it but it said to quote
this engine when trying to buy parts at auto part stores that are not
familiar with Panters (which means 99.99%) the clerk who had a new Hemi
Dodge charger and claimed to be knowledegable about Muscle cars practically
insisted that I buy Motorcraft spark plugs saying " Ford plugs for a Ford
engine" Was his advice accurate? What is the majority opinion on the brand
and temperature plug to use ? (my engine has a holley 650 , edelbrock
intake, supposedly some hotter cam then stock , and headers (and as I
mentioned the MSD ignition). i have not installed the plugs yet but Iplan on
doing so as soon. I would be interested in opinions before I gap and
install these as I could still return them if there is a "better choice".
Thanks in advance for your input.
