[DeTomaso] Air in clutch system

Paul,

The bubbles come out right away, then stop after two bleeds. Maybe a little
fluid missing, but not much.
On the slave rebuild, I just lightly sanded the inside and replaced the
piston.
I noticed a little fluid was inside the front of the slave, so I figured
this was the issue.
I brought along the slave out of The Beast as a back-up and switched it out
in the casino parking lot.
The slave piston from The Beast wasn't budging at first, then it went all
the way out and didn't return. On the next pump the pressure blew the fluid
line off the hose end spraying brake fluid directly in my eyes. Luckily a
passing casino worker had a water bottle.
I took this slave out, removed the fittings to drain the fluid and still
couldn't get the piston to move back, even while using a 17mm socket and big
hammer. Wouldn't budge a bit.
I also brought a long throw slave I bought from Pantera Performance but it
has a different size fitting for the hose end and I don't know quite where
to find one here in Vegas.
I'm pretty wiped out from three days of wrenching hour after hour in this
heat and I'm ready to go home.
I'm also out of ideas.
