[DeTomaso] Air in clutch system

 Many years ago when I had similar symptoms I found that the return spring in the master cylinder was broken and would not force the piston all the way back. It acted like a slave problem and if I wiggled the arm at the slave it would work for a bit but gradually get less and less travel. A new master cylinder solved it.
