Well, actually.... it sat at Gray's place for a couple of years, I
think... waiting on Quella to finish Gray's racecar.
Then, it sat at Quella's place since then. I haven't driven my car
since March 2002.... I have touched it a couple of time since then.

However, I can happily report that things ARE happening! DQ called me
today!
The rear deck is repaired. The early, no rib deck lid is AOK now.
OK, Mike.... yes, yes, yes... it has a cutout for the EFI.... Don't
rail on me about that AGAIN.

The rusty places are repaired. The holes where an antenna used to be
are patched. The driver's door now shuts nicely (which it NEVER did)
and the car should be in primer by next week.

Scope of work was to fix the rust and cracks accumulated over 20 years
of driving it as an everyday driver and weekends at the track. I think
most people that know me would agree that I did not baby my
Pantera.... It has had a pretty tough life since I got it.

Oh, and put the engine back together after I burnt a piston at TWS in
March 2002... the last time I drove it. Engine has been back together
and dyno'd now for almost two years, I think. It was originally going
to go into my GT40 and a 427 Windsor into the Pantera, but certain
individuals pointed out that I was a flaming idiot and made me see the
light. The 427 is in the GT40 and the Pantera will get its Cleveland
back 'real soon now'.

The rest of the car is OK. Just needed a paint job after the rust
repair.

Maybe.... Just maybe.... I'll drive it again this year!

There ya' go, Mike. All the details.

Kirby
