Forget about 1971 belts; they're almost impossible to find, you have to 
change the whole set over, and they're not much better than what you've got 
now.

On the other hand, Hall Pantera (and Precision ProFormance) make a very 
nice bolt-in seat belt kit that lets you fasten your belts just like a regular 
car.

They even have a nice De Tomaso logo on the buckle.

The shoulder harness is fixed; all the movement takes place on the outboard 
inertia reel, so it's a bit different from a regular car, but you quickly 
get used to it.   And compared to your stock belts?   It's like night and 
day.

A bit expensive, and worth every penny.   Two big thumbs up!
