Bill,
     I can't find the starter interlock override you're talking about.  What does it look like?  Is it in the front trunk or near the front trunk?  Could they be located in different places on different cars?  The only wires I see in the front trunk go to the brake switch.  (my windshield washer is disconnected).

  It is possible that the interlock could drag the Run bus down and thus cause the engine to quit. 

  Referring to the diagram at http://www.panteraplace.com/Electrical/STARTER%20INTERLOCKS%20AND%20OVERRIDE.pdf:

  Pull the Gray wire from Fuse #11 (second from the bottom).

  At the Starter Interlock Override (front trunk, front left side) pull the Red and the Red/Black wires off the interlock and connect them together.

  Now the interlock has no connection to the Run bus and the ignition switch Start position goes straight to the starter solenoid.
