[DeTomaso] Porterfield R4S brake pads

I went with Porterfields all the way around last fall and the issue I ran into was a rather nasty squeal when stopping once I got down to the 5 to 10 mpr range. I have a stock brake set up and ended up driling the front stock rotors to reduce the noise. When I orderd the pads and said it was for a Pantera they told me they had to make a modification on the rear pads and they would be delayed a few days. My suggestion would be to ask them if they don't mention it. The pads have worked well for me (once i got the squeak handled).

Subject: [DeTomaso] Porterfield R4S brake pads

Hi listers,
Which vendor(s) sell the Porterfield R4S pads for our cars? I would prefer to give them some business as long as the pricing is similar to what Porterfield charges.
I checked the website today and they want $139 Front and $115 Rear. I would hope thats for both sides but it might be per wheel.
Would like to hear about best prices for these things.

Thanks,
Matt
