[DeTomaso] Motor plate or not?

Dear Henrik,

I am an engine building rookie. Yes, it is supposed to have a motor plate, but it can work or run without it. I am not sure of it's full function, but it would seem to separate the bellhousing-flywheel-clutch from the rear of the engine. Also Chris' current problem with a leaking rear main seal also suggests that it helps keep that problem from quickly contaminating the clutch-flywheel. It is a recommended engine part. I will have to leave a better answer to the real experts on the forum.

Warmest regards, Chuck Engles
