[DeTomaso] ZF Vent Tube

I have a stainless steel vent tube on my ZF.  It's fine.  The problem is the
small fitting that attaches it to the top of the ZF.  It as sheared off.  As
a result, I have the hollow threaded end still in the ZF with no obvious (to
me anyway) method of how to get it out.

 

I think it's aluminum, the fitting is very light.

 

Any thoughts on how to get the threaded bit out of the ZF without letting it
fall in would be greatly appreciated.
