My bathroom scales say 16 lbs. A 17x 11 aluminum rear 'Campy-clone' wheel 
weighs 25lbs, according to Pantera East. And while 3-piece aluminum racing 
wheels are as light as magnesium, they're far more fragile. From the number of 
catastrophic breakages we've seen on street cars with 3-piece wheels, I
