[DeTomaso] Rocker installation

Mechanical rockers will sit on the valve and pushrod with no spacer.  I 
have photos here:

but they are a bit hard to tell.  There is -no- spacer on these either, 
even though I'm running a hydraulic cam.  The tension on the assembly is 
created by the use of a lock-nut on the stud, which allows you to crank 
down the rocker too tight or too loose.  This is where the idea of valve 
"lash" comes in.  You need just the right amount of adjustment.

Now if you had a stock hydraulic cam, you'd use pedastals and just 
torque the rocker to spec, but with a mechanical cam you have to adjust 
each rocker individually.
