[DeTomaso] Remote oil filter setup

It is like you say pretty pointless IMO. Possible reasons that come to mind: custom exhaust that makes use of the filter area, want to use a different kind of filter altogether or want to use dual filters. I kept mine in the stock location even when I added an oil cooler simply because it's out of the way and I don't have to make a mount for it somewhere else.
