Yeah, what everyone else has said already. All excellent advice.

Plus...
 - An extra ignition module if you're running a Mallory Unilite distributor
 - Extra MSD box if you're using an MSD box/spark controller
 - Spare fuel filter
 - Spare radiator hose that makes the tight bend beneath the water pump at the front of the engine - the one that is usually in contact with the parking brake assembly
 - Rescue tape (http://www.rescuetape.com/) - This is amazing stuff
 - Wipers with fresh blades in the front trunk in case you encounter foul weather
 - Assorted fuses
 - Water pump belt
 - Necessary tools to change any of the above
 - IR temp gun - for peace of mind when you're questioning your temp gauge readings on a long distance road trip
