Different engines apparently had the pointer in different locations. My 
after market balancer has three sets of timing marks.

I have painted two  white lines, one at TDC and one at 10°, which is the 
base timing with the Ford EFI. This helps discriminate which set of 
marks to use. I have also marked the same two marks on the flywheel so 
that I can check the timing without having to access the balancer.
