Time to take photos man.  Pictures can tell a much bigger and better 
story.  They can also help us figure out if it's toast or not.

I would say the block may be salvageable depending on what you want to 
do with it, where it's chipped, how much is chipped, are there any 
residual cracks extending up the cylinder, etc.  You're in for a ride 
that's for sure.  I'm guessing you'll need to replace the block.

I know you have a web site and can post the photos there, but if you 
need some extra space, the TPR site can handle more.  I apologize I 
don't have the registration system up and running yet, but can get you 
in if you need.

Since you pulled the back end of the cam, I'm assuming the plug was 
missing at the back of the block.  Damn, that must mean I win... well, I 
have a couple of spare 351C blocks laying around... 2-bolt though.

Sorry to hear about the failure.  Keep us posted on the forensics, this 
(at least to me) is powerfully interesting.
