An AZ or a CA address?

No I was saying that was the cost.

?As far as fraud there is no fraud involved- the only fraud which they make that's legal is the States Politicians- you dont have to live in AZ or Nev to registrar a vehicle- if ya really want to be under the radar- registar it in Utah.

?Do what ya like I was just trying to help someone

Are you saying the annual license fee was $800 in CA or the initial "sales tax" equivalent was?
If you mean the annual fee was then you are comparing apples to oranges-- the CA Historic Vehicle plate would be about the same.

And having a car registered in AZ is something I wouldn't recommend doing unless you actually have a residence there where you spend much of your time.?
There are laws in effect to prevent people from doing this and to try to get around them could get you in trouble-- I'm sure there are lots of judges who would be happy to fry your ass for fraud.? The State gets really mean when it finds people are withholding money it should be getting.

Just my opinion.

Hi Jurgen & Will first of all I wouldn't use hagerty Insurance as they were good

to me until my son had a problem-( if ya want that story I can send it too you)-

anyway I went with a Company called American Modern Ins, I had more coverage, I

chose the plan mileage I wanted-I.E. 2500, 3500 5K or ? mileage?( and if you

don't use all the mileage you signed up for -they roll it over)?and the coverage

cost was $375.00 a year lower for 2 cars.

?this was for my 74?Pantera GTS and a 1970 Dodge Challenger.

?

OK for registration here in calif the taxes are going up 1% on Wed. April 1st

and Calif will F**k you anyway they can and Im not sure if they still have the

out of state fee to bring a car here. I would register it in Arizona ( even if

you live in Calif) its easy and cheaper by far.

?My pantera was about $800.00 here and in Arizona it was $87.00 w/ copper

historic license plates, my motor home was almost $6K in calif and was $486.00

in Arizona- get the message ??

?my 2 cts Pantera Mike?#7042
